From Q3, 1999, until the merger of Compaq Computer Corporation with HP in Q4, 2001, I was a member of the team of analysts that compiled quarterly reviews for Compaq's telecommunications line of business unit, Compaq Telecom. These reviews were primarily survey based and positioned Compaq's telecommunications offerings within the competitive landscape. In all of the reviews I acted as the subject matter expert (SME) for Compaq's infrastructure products deployed by carriers implementing Intelligent Network architecture.
