The introduction of web-based applications, common as dirt in this era of App Stores, was news in 2000. This ICM Global Intelligence study, to my mind, stands as a testament to how difficult it is to imagine the future. While we were looking primarily at applications for the business market, we totally underestimated the mass market demand for entertainment, photo, video and gaming apps.
