ALL MY BELONGINGS
All My Belongings was an autobiographical one-man show that premiered to a full house at Rasputin's, an Ottawa coffeehouse, in February of 1989. A four-show run at the Great Canadian Theatre Company in September was well reviewed and I received a Recommended Playwright award from the Ontario Arts Council that December. A radio version of the show was commission by CHEZ-FM, produced by Jeff Green and ran on Ken Rockburn's Sunday night arts and public affairs program Medium Rare in May of 1990. The following month my September 1989 performance at the GCTC was recognized by the Capital Critics Circle with a Best Performance by an Actor award. Over the next two and a half years the show was produced at several other venues, concluding with a Toronto run at the Tarragon Theatre Extra Space in 1992.
